Very convenient to Seaport Village and waterfront activities. The breakfast service is outstanding. The staff was very helpful, courteous and kind. I room I stayed in was well kept and it felt like a luxury staying here. It is also walking distance to the Gas Lamp district.
You're really paying for the location, views (Seaport side), service, and facilities. They have a large gym and pool with great views. The staff were very hospitable. However, the rooms are small and the walls are thin. The rooms seemed modern and upgraded, but the beds are so soft that I sunk in the middle. Also, the towels are thin and the toiletries were so-so. I'm not sure if the high room rate with the multitude of fees are justified.
This place is in a prime spot! You can walk right to the Gaslamp district and Little Italy. It’s also just a short ride from the airport and near the main piers. Plus, they provide bed sheets, pillows, and Balmain toiletries, which is a nice touch. Parking can be pricey, but it’s the only option. The pools are heated, and there are a few restaurants on-site. The staff is friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.
Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is one of the best hotels I've stayed in, in terms of value. The location is perfect, right on the water, next to seaport village and close to downtown, the rooms are clean, comfortable, modern and if you ask for water view, you will be treated to firework show in the evening. The food at this hotel is fantastic, but its also located next to so many restaurants that you will always find something you'd like. Its a very large hotel so the high level floors are nice and quiet and views are fantastic. Just a great hotel, staff is really nice and really couldn't ask much more from this place.
One of the hotels I recommend Tourists is coming to stay in San Diego. It’s a little bit of a luxury stuff you can afford it. I would definitely stay here. It has a great view of San Diego, Harbour and Bay. It is right next to the Seaport village. Just a short walk from historic gaslamp. I stayed with friends here on New Year’s Eve. Was pleased to note they had events planned for all ages. Even a balloon drop! Make sure when visiting you check out the top Of the Hyatt for amazing drinks and views.
If you want to have Seaport Village right in your backyard, this is the place to be! The interior, from the lobby to the guest rooms, is beautiful and modern. Most importantly, Jazzy at the front desk was absolutely phenomenal. She is truly one of the best staff members I've ever encountered. I would like to send a huge thank you to her for making our stay so special!

Location, view, espresso martini awesome, great for conference your room emptied right into the conference floor. $15 a day comped from 40th floor bar! The text feature for customer service was fantastic. Great response time. If your a Hyatt Member check in was immediate!
This weekend we experienced a truly memorable family getaway at this wonderful establishment. It offers a welcoming atmosphere perfect for all ages. You'll find spacious accommodations designed with comfort in mind. The hotel itself is majestic and its centrally located to restaurants and the sea. The seaport village is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel and a 10 minute walk to the USS Midway, and very close to the Gaslamp quarters and many other places. My family and I loved it here and we hope to come here again soon! My only conern about this hotel are the narrow parking spaces, other than that this is a 5 star hotel!
This hotel really is GRAND. I've stayed here dozens of times and have never been disappointed. But now? All the guest rooms, ballrooms, meeting spaces, and restaurants just got renovated. The elevators and some of the escalators, too. There's simply not a nicer hotel in the city!
