Great location, quiet rooms. Unfortunately, the building was under construction while I was there. Make sure you indicate you want your room cleaned/serviced, or they will not come by.

Really nice place with a great atmosphere. Lauren at the front desk was absolutely top notch and made the experience even better. Outstanding customer service from start to finish. Easily a 20/10.

We stayed in this hotel this weekend and the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We went to hot tube and pool where was not great the pool was yellow and green not clean at all ( we didn’t get in ) and the hot tube only 1 was working.

The customer service was amazing. The room was clean but it was a lot of dust. The temperature in the room had to be lower than normal. Outside of that the location was great for walking and a short uber to the airport.

Lived is SD for many Gears, now i live in OC and had a business trip to SD and stayed in this hotel. It was very nice, we were going to have the ocean view and at the last minute, we were given this view.. Not bad, but we were already excited to have the ocean view. Maybe next time.

Nice hotel in a great location. The property is huge, with two towers. I stayed in the Harbor Tower; the room was spacious, clean, and well stocked with complimentary water. There is a main heated pool and an adults-only heated pool—both are very nice, with plenty of chairs and loungers. The hotel is beautifully decorated for the holidays. On the last day of my stay, I had issues with my room door. The area around the hotel offers many dining options, a boardwalk, and an outdoor movie theater. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

What an awful experience for such a pricey hotel. I had 4 rooms. Any time I had an issue or question (which was many times because we had a large party), I would try to call the front desk. And let me tell you… trying to reach the front desk is an exhausting and generally unsuccessful endeavor. The buttons of the phone would barely work so I had to press the same button 5 times every time. Then I’d be connected to an AI bot. I would ask if I could be connected to the front desk, and the bot would waste my time basically asking if there “really wasn’t anything it could help with” over and over. I’m assuming they’re cost cutting customer service by using this AI and it’s just really irritating because as expensive as this hotel is, they should be able to afford personalized customer service. The bot would eventually connect me to the front desk, but the front desk only picked up maybe half of the time. People stay in hotels because of the extra levels of service. If I just needed a place to sleep, I would’ve chosen an Airbnb. The club lounge is also a mess. The “breakfast” is literally lower quality than a La Quinta. I mean how can you even call if a breakfast buffet when there’s only 1 hot option??? The cost cutting is insane considering the pricing of this property. And at check in I was told that the space is accessible 24/7. However, when one of us tried going in later in the night to get some work done, they were reprimanded by the staff in the lounge. Additionally, this hotel is so stingy that they lock the soda machines in the lounge at night…. What happened to “24/7?” Your business can’t even afford to give $0.10 soda to loyal customers? I have also spent many hours trying to get in touch with the hotels front desk to get some folios issued in my guests name so they can get reimbursed. However, I have been unsuccessful and the bills are still in my name. This is not a major request, and I have had this done times at other busy Hyatt hotels. Despite being put in the newly renovated rooms, some of the rooms had leaks in the shower. And because reaching the front desk was a pain, so we basically just had to deal with it. Additionally, some of our rooms never received housekeeping. I mean come on?? No housekeeping? In a hotel at this price range? Was thinking of switching my loyalty to Hyatt after a few decent stays last year, but I think I’ll stick with Marriott.
