The WORST company I have ever had in my life, that includes ANY company, not just insurance. Please listen to me and all the other reviews. Those people have zero customer service skills, matter of fact, they have zero skills at all, they aren't even trying to be helpful or pretend to know what they are doing. Gabrielle Ellis is a terrible adjuster and has absolutely no idea how to do her job. She should be ashamed of herself for being such a terrible human being with absolutly no work ethic. We got involved in an accident back in June and keep trying to get in touch with someone and NOBODY ever gets back to us, they don’t answer the phone and don’t reply to emails. Its October now and the claim still wasn't resolved. It’s infuriating and upsetting that a place like this is still open for business, should be illegal. They are not a legit insurance company, please do not sign up with them, it’ll make your life miserable.

How...just how is this company still in business? This company appears to be for people who can't afford a quality insurance company. They do not handle their claims in a timely manner. They do not return calls. It took them over a week to assign an adjustor to my claim and I never heard from them. I sent my insurance agent after them and he could not get anyone to call him back. I had to use my insurance to cover the wreck which I was not at fault. My car was totaled and now I have to purchase another work car. I called an attorney to see how I could get reimbursed for another vehicle and when I said the name of this insurance, they were like oh man that insurance company is the worst. If you get hit by someone pray, they don't have this insurance because it will be a long dragged-out process.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was in an accident with an individual who was at fault. This was their insurance company… You are better off submitting your claim with your insurance provider and having them pursue Ocean Harbor Casualty for the money. The driver had a deplorable policy limit, monetarily speaking, which meant pursuing him in a court of law would yield little to no money at all. This insurance is for people who want insurance just for the sake of saying they “have insurance”. Be ready to do all the phone calling in regard to your accident because you will not hear a single word from their end. Not to mention, very few auto repair shops in Miami, FL will accept checks from them because of how horrendous this insurance is. I have a lease on my car and the dealership recommended an auto body shop they operate through for collision repairs. The auto body shop told me they downright REFUSE to accept checks from Ocean Harbor Casualty and the gentleman on the phone expressed genuine empathy toward me after finding out my car was in the hands of this garbage insurance company. The incompetence and procrastination this insurance company embodies has me perplexed. I truly do not understand how they are still licensed. It took them one and a half months to send me an appraisal for the damages and they had the audacity to suggest I open a claim through my insurance for an accident I did not cause because the policy their insured driver had would likely not cover the damages. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSURANCE COMPANY. I am somewhat happy because their procrastination led to about a 2 and a half week accumulation of lot fees at the tow yard which cost them a pretty penny. This is bar none the worst experience I have ever had. I hope whoever is reading this never has to interact with such a repulsive company that is Ocean Harbor Casualty.

Do not! Do not! Do not get insurance with this company! They don't even deserve one star. They actually should be removed from Google completely. I recently got into an accident 2 weeks ago. I have not been able to speak to a single person besides the initial Report. I have called, left emails, I have no idea what to do. I have been paying out ridiculous amounts of money to a rental car. The only thing they seem to know how to do well is send letters saying they are not responsible...... Marleny Rodriguez is my adjuster , have never spoken to her.. But apparently they've already made decisions on my accident. To be honest they have no idea what happened because I haven't really told anyone!!!!! You'd have a better chance of Saving the money in your bank account and paying for the damages out of pocket.. Because I've basically been giving that for $200 a month for the past 2 years. They won the lottery!!!! So 2 weeks later my car is still in the shop untouched, I have not spoken to anyone kalma and I think I may have to hire a personal attorney to guide me through this... Because my insurance company is ignoring me

Awful company and customer service. They returned my call nearly 2 monts after the accident, gave me a hard time to pay for an accident I didn't cause and pay for all the cars involved. And oh did not honor full car rental reimbursement. The same goes to their referral car shop Factory Finish Paint and Body, which over-charged me for a tiny little indentation bump and added a new bumper alleging there was internal damage and kept the car for 4 days. Stay away from both!

I am appalled by the way this insurance company handled a recent claim involving one of their clients. Their insured allowed an unlicensed individual to operate their vehicle – a person who has never been issued a driver's license. Unsurprisingly, this driver committed a serious traffic offense and was cited with a mandatory court appearance for a criminal traffic violation. Despite the clear recklessness of allowing an unlicensed, unqualified individual behind the wheel, the insurance company has failed to hold their client accountable. This not only defies common sense but undermines basic standards of responsibility and public safety. Insurance exists to manage risk fairly and ethically—not to shield policyholders from the consequences of endangering others on the road. The fact that a company would overlook such blatant negligence is unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering this insurer to think twice. If you're ever on the receiving end of a claim, don’t expect fairness, accountability, or sound judgment from them.

My car got hit by someone insured by this company, it was not my fault, and was proven and documented by police reports with the other driver getting a ticket. This company seems to have a policy of non-response and hoping you will go away. It took 10 months to finally resolve the issue, almost 100 phone calls, many unreturned emails, dozens of unreturned voicemails. Finally took legal action to get them to pay, and they flat refused to reimburse the final cost of the car rental which I agreed to so I could finally quit wasting time on this. This company will give you insurance no matter how bad your driving record is. They simply won't pay out on insurance claims until you take them to court. They also simply don't respond to communication.

I have had insurance with ocean harbor for over 2yrs and have never missed a payment. July of 2024 I was involved in a non fault accident in which my vehicle was deemed totalled. Here we are in February of 2025 and ocean harbor has refused up until this point to pay my loan in the amount promised through the adjuster. I now am unable to reach an agent in reference to this. I will be contacting my lawyer if things are not rectified asap!

It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve gotten into an accident and I call every single day!!! Every time I call I get hung up on or straight to voicemail when I ask to speak to a supervisor! This is ridiculous I have no car and when I speak to Christine Charles the ONE time she answered the phone she says she is waiting on this mystery supervisor to approve everything. I am paying out of pocket for a rental because they act like they can’t send over the total loss paper work this is RIDICULOUS! If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m 20 years old so parents I would NOT recommend this insurance to your children. This is stressful and ridiculous. DONT DO IT !

Avoid this company at all costs. I was hit by another driver who ran a red light, while my light was green — and I have the video to prove it. Despite the clear evidence, the insurance company still denied my claim. When I contacted Florida customer service, they reopened the claim only to lowball me with an unfair settlement offer. My car was a total loss, and they refused to cover the damages. I called every day, but they rarely answered, and when they did, they lied about trying to contact me. I even called from ten different numbers, but nothing changed. This is the worst insurance company I’ve ever dealt with — completely untrustworthy.
