I was taking my dog granddaughters to the gold Olympics championships for the national trials in Kansas City that was at the Sprint Center this year we haven't just go down to the Country Club Plaza to do a little shopping and get some lunch before the competition started my granddaughters and I just decided to go in there so I'll get something to drink a little snack Potbelly Sandwich delivered it was great and they have a selection of potato chips that you will find nowhere else ever I had these New Orleans to Mesquite BBQ chips I'm not even a barbecue chip fan but man I just ate these things up I love them the girls baked potato chips and then they have less sodium and less salt on them than regular chips plus they were wholesome it was a good snack before we went there to the Sprint Center enjoyed it thoroughly fast friendly service take the time if you're in the Country Club Plaza area stop and have a sandwich chips whatever and just sit down and relax for a few minutes you'll enjoy the atmosphere it is on Broadway like I said in the Country Club Plaza plenty of cute little shops to go to right across the street enjoy the shopping as well! Girls had a blast.
If I could give zero stars I would, staff had no idea about our order. Missing soups and drinks, then being rude when I corrected them. Overall just unpleasant and unprofessional, including the management. Walking around with AirPods I’m not being able to hear customers or co workers. Sitting in the lobby on the phone while customers were present. Plus food was below satisfactory.
wow... gotta give it 5 stars. Great Sandwiches. Honestly it is hard to believe this is a chain. I had the A-Wreck and it was honestly so good. You have to go here. It is one of the only AFFORDABLE but still good cuisine down in the Plaza. Also great atmosphere. I recommend
Best deli sandwich in town! Rick was awesome, and all the staff there were great too... The sandwich called A Wreck filled me all the way up. The hot peppers were right on time!
Refuses to take order in store second time I’ve driven down to store and been turned away poor customer service was told first time it’s because he was alone second time 2 employees here and same story door reads delivery only and turning customers away refusing to take orders..won’t accept my gift cards and app won’t take them either guess I’ll give up on spending my money here
Give these people a raise! This is one of my regular spots for lunch and this location is so severely understaffed. They deal with multiple people coming through and being so rude to them over the wait time but the staff is always so nice and pleasant even when the customers aren’t. My food is always exactly what I ordered and you can’t beat the customer service.
I come here once a week. Matt and Drake take excellent care of me every time. Drake was so friendly and energetic during my visit. Thank you!
The chips were good. One sandwich was inedible. The other two were fine. Kid's cookie was left out. Poor kid. Shake must have been made before we got there. It was liquid, save the ice at the bottom. They hadn't even looked at our food order by the time we arrived and it was another 15 minutes before they got to it. Then part of it was inexcusably wrong, though that wasn't discovered until we got home. Now we recall why we don't eat at Potbelly. Hopefully we'll remember next time we're looking for a sandwich.
Staff were not friendly and treated me rather dismissively. When they made a mistake on my order, they were short with me before remaking the sandwich and basically tossing it at me with an insincere apology. Management doesn't seem to care to respond to feedback or improve. I've consistently received poor service here. Edit to add: I sent an email as asked by the owner in their response to this review. I never heard anything back. This just supports my observation that the management doesn't really care about feedback or want to improve.
The sandwiches are okay. The dining area was a mess with every table needing to be wiped down and food all over the floor. The bathroom had no toilet paper and the trash can was overflowing.
