False Advertising on the Cafe Chinese food, Advertised as 8.99$ a plate and surprised me with an 18.99$ label... For a small plate of rice and chicken, unacceptable, if I had known I was going to be upcharged so much I wouldn't have bothered getting it and I won't ever be getting it again it's way overpriced and low quality, but the worst part is the false Advertising, definitely fix that.
This must be a tough store to work at. (It's a daily "shoe-show", especially in the evening.) But that is no reason for some of the staff, especially the dudes at the customer service counter to treat people with hostile indifference. ( I know- that should indeed be an oxymoron- but it describes some of the staff here perfectly). They could, and should, improve their customer service skills considerably. I felt disrespected and poorly treated, for no reason that I could discern. Passive aggression is..... Aggression.
It's a covenient location but a super sketchy place. PSA: Do not purchase donuts, single bagels, or other self-service bakery items. More than once I've seen people covered in filth and smelling like feces going through the pastries, touching them, placing them back, smelling them, etc. If you ever buy a croissant or a muffin there and get a stomach issue, that's why.

Kind of a smaller neighborhood market. Decent selection. Was very disappointed with the meat section. We were there in 6/27. An entire section of ground turkey had expired the day before. Most of the the ground beef was browned and disgusting.
Never been to this Safeway. I found it to be very clean. The staff were helpful. Good first impression.
Online the store said they close at 6pm. I only needed one item. I got there at 5:52 and they wouldn't let me in. It was a cold, rainy, windy, night. I was walking. I went out in that crap for nothing. If the store closes at 5:50 then that's what they should have posted online. Very annoying.
Does your grocery store have a full bar with tons of local taps and nitro-topped growler fills? Nice people, good atmosphere, engaged managers. They deal with the occasional urban insanity with grace and humor. A real community center, glad to have them.
Go see Allycin in the deli, give her your time she is a real help. Tell the customer service desk how great she is. I want to let them know how over the top her helpfulness is.
Staff here are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable if you use the club card and the Safeway app. Only dislike is the “mini shop” within the store where they keep certain items including wine and cleaning supplies, and which makes shopping a bit less streamlined. Areas like the pharmacy and meat counter can have a significant wait time depending on the time of day, but that is common these days.
