Online the store said they close at 6pm. I only needed one item. I got there at 5:52 and they wouldn't let me in. It was a cold, rainy, windy, night. I was walking. I went out in that crap for nothing. If the store closes at 5:50 then that's what they should have posted online. Very annoying.
Does your grocery store have a full bar with tons of local taps and nitro-topped growler fills? Nice people, good atmosphere, engaged managers. They deal with the occasional urban insanity with grace and humor. A real community center, glad to have them.
A case of soda here was 10.39 cents. Highway robbery, this is the closest store to where I live but I make the extra commute elsewhere because the prices here are unjustifiably high. Nice clean store tho. They were rude to my friend once who was trying to use the restroom. Some of the workers profile and discriminate against people they don't like the look of for whatever reasons they think they have. The entire population shouldn't be punished because of the acts of somebody else. That's no way to treat customers.
I live right across the street and never had problems. We've spent thousands there for years. However, the person with long blonde hair, possibly the manager working there, was really rude to me and my girlfriend at self checkout. Gave us attitude as if they never saw us there before. I don't think they even like their job, to be honest! I love everyone else there, they are awesome, but I have to stand on business with this one until we feel welcomed again. It's heartbreaking.
That store always runs out of ad items and most items I want are always out. Especially items on digital coupon, it’s unlike any other safeway ive shopped in. Won’t be going back without seeing changes.
I did my shopping Thursday morning as soon as I’ve walked in the door I was racial profiled by a white female, followed me in the store around the store looked at me, watched me checked out and everything. I don’t feel comfortable going to that store anymore. I don’t feel like it she should get fired. I don’t appreciate it. I worked in the grocery store for 8 1/2 years. To many homeless people waiting around the entrance.. the meat and seafood dept never has anyone working....
Staff here are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable if you use the club card and the Safeway app. Only dislike is the “mini shop” within the store where they keep certain items including wine and cleaning supplies, and which makes shopping a bit less streamlined. Areas like the pharmacy and meat counter can have a significant wait time depending on the time of day, but that is common these days.
Go see Allycin in the deli, give her your time she is a real help. Tell the customer service desk how great she is. I want to let them know how over the top her helpfulness is.
I did an online order/pick up and Dustin provide by far the best customer service experience. I really valued the passion that he shared on how much he enjoyed his job (mind you not a lot a of people do and it shows...) He greeted me with such kindness and assisted me with bagging my groceries. Not only did Dustin provide great service but when I got home and reviewed my products, outstanding! It looked like I shopped for my own groceries. Products were greatly selected and stored with care. I am definitely going to continue doing my online shopping at this location and hope that the next person who gets my order selects my products like Dustin did.
