My niece went to that hospital last night on the 27th terrible pain in her stomach. She's got a tumor on there. Supposedly her doctor supposed to perform surgery on her. She's been laying in a bed for over 24 hours being totally neglected barely had a nurse ever come in no one has seen the doctor and when they my niece's husband told the nurse to please call her doctor. They said they could not get a hold of the doctor well, the doctor works for that hospital so they want to release my niece why she's still in terrible pain. She can't move. She can't even talk. That's what kind of hospital. This is. Don't go there. Don't go There

Nurses and staff that took care of me were Great! Once I was being discharged it took an hour or less to be released which is well above average for any hospital. Also there was little to no wait to be transported after discharge where Methodist hospital took 3 hours just to get a wheeled chair ride down the elevator. Areas of improvement in my opinion were: Valet parking was FREE which is awesome but they were extremely slow and I waited almost an hour to get my vehicle to go home. The kitchen missed my room at least 3 times in a 48 hour period I was there so I was not fed those meals at all. My last hospital stay was in a Methodist hospital and the HCA hospital beds were smaller and less comfortable than Methodist hospitals. Over all a good experience but not a great experience.

From the day before my surgery, the front desk lady (in very high heels) was so nice and patient with me filing out forms. Next day, The nurses in pre-op (Carmen) were so cordial and helpful, the surgery staff ( True Pros!) were so kind - then onto Post Op- very lovely, sweet Natalia keeping a close eye on me, making sure I was comfortable. Finally, to my hospital room- so many caring Nurses- Rosemary, Carlos - so professional and caring about me. I’m sorry I can remember everyone’s name, but I will never forget how they made me feel ❤️
I was recently discharged from having back surgery on Saturday and when I tell you that I had the most amazing nurses ever, they made my stay very nice. I didn’t have many visitors and really I didn’t need any because they definitely made me feel at home. I want to give a special shout out to Cindy, Cam and the Night Nurse ( I can’t render her name) you guys really took good care of me. There were also two aide’s that took care of me and I can’t remember their names, but they were really nice as well. The only thing that I didn’t like was the food could’ve been a little bit better, but it served its purpose. 🫶
Not at all what I expected having an appointment and still waited 2 hours for the procedure to even start. I had to reschedule prior to this appointment due to the same issue.
Nurse Lucy on night one was outstanding - concerned with my husband's pain and tried to do everything she could to help him. Nurse Lina during the days was very attentive but hard to understand because of her accent and how fast she talked. In general, the care was very good. We could tell they were short handed so the fact that my husband's needs were met is great. One negative, not regarding care, is that on Saturday, the South Tower entrance is closed and parking on the street is difficult. I had to park close to the North Tower and enter through Emergency, then walk across the skywalk to the South Tower. I had to go feed the meter while waiting for my husband to be released, so that was another long walk out and back again. This was a huge inconvenience that they didn't tell me about. On the other hand, free valet parking during the week is a great benefit.
