Everything about my stay at HCA was outstanding. From cheking in for surgery all the way to being discharged. The faciilities, the staff, the room, the food and the care excercised by nurses and medical staff was incredible. I am happy my Dr operates at HCA.
It was A journey. A lot of great staffed people with a few selection who have communicative, professional, politeness, syndrome some. Cafeteria staff so nice, nurses some pretty fairly nice professional the rest need to address being untacky my best way to put that (smiles)

Had to get my appendix removed and the process was so smooth and pretty straightforward. I arrived through the ER after walking around the hospital looking for front door. I originally went through the back of the hospital since it said Emergency and was ignored by the security guard so in pain had to limp all around the building through the North tower. There I arrived at the security desk and was told to sign in to the kiosk as I was about to sign in another security guard tells at me saying hold on you got to wait for her and points at an empty cubicle. So I was about 10 minutes in pain waiting for the lady then finally get up and let the security guard know I was directed here from another ER with an inflamed appendix and she finally gets up and lets the head nurse know. I go into the ER and was a bit nervous because it looks like it's seen better days in there but I figure well I'm here and need to get this removed. Finally, I speak with another nurse and she lets me know my room would be ready soon. About 45 minutes go by and I'm taken to my room. Night and day difference between the two places. I get in and my nurse Luisito was very attentive and helpful and answered all my requests and lets me know I should see the surgeon in the morning. The morning comes and the surgeon Dr. Tsaio comes in and lets me know about the procedure and answers all the questions I have and reassures me of it all. The surgery was fast and was back in my room by 11 am I couldn't believe how quick it was. The reviews I read had me a bit worried but all in all the healthcare was more than I could ask for. The only thing I did have an issue with was getting ignored by security and ER being a bit chaotic and messy but I guess that might be the same in all hospitals.
Terrible patient care in the OR. I was in extreme pain as they strapped me down to the table and not much was done to help mitigate the situation. Too much to write here but if scheduled to have a Cardiac Cath here you might want to find a different facility.
My father received the best care at HCA. He can be a stubborn one, but the nurses and doctors knew how to handle him. My mother spent many nights in the hospital with my dad, and every single person checked on her while attending to him. It's not easy to see a loved one slowly slip away but the level of care here makes it better.
I have been in the hospital for 6 days and most of the nurses have been very good to me, more than anything the Nurses Abby she attended me for more than two days in room #728 the treatment and care of her was incredible. She was aware of me for anything. Like Dr. Zafar, he was an incredible surgeon. I thank him very much for everything. I really appreciate all the help they gave me and how they treated me, no one was mean to me.♥️
I had a great experience at HCA - Houston during my procedure recently. The nurses and staff were all wonderful even on a Monday!
As a patient that lives in Katy I would fight traffic and tolls and everything else to come to this HCA. The nurses were fabulous; the care team checked in on me; they clustered my care so I could sleep. This is your emergency care hospital
