I am a frequent flyer here due to an incredibly crappy seizure condition among other serious issues. Dr. Samani was the first doctor in the last 10 years of fighting this to actually help me. He put in a port and put me on TPN (liquid nutrition) after so many other doctors just threw painkillers at me and told me to go away. I also have the privilege of having my surgeries with Dr. Tsiao who is absolutely amazing! After 14 surgeries with another surgeon and no results he was able to stabilize me with the last 2 surgeries which I didn't think was possible after the surgeon in Beaumont told me I had about 5 years to live. Dr. Mantena is an incredible pain management Dr. I was so upset and sick of everything when I first landed in this hospital about 2 years ago I yelled at him for not giving me a certain medicine and actually "fired" him but the next day when I was screaming and crying in pain he came right back and treated me so kindly I don't know how he did it! Everyone at this facility from the doctors to the nurses to the CNAs to the case management department to the janitorial staff... they're all amazing! My husband found us an apartment 5 blocks away because I can't drive anymore so unfortunately they're stuck with me as a patient! I'm sorry if I misspelled any of the doctors' names! I cannot recommend them enough. I love the food service workers who remember me every time I get admitted and the beautiful ladies at the Starbucks who don't get mad at me when I come in 10 minutes before they close because I desperately need caffeine. Thank you to the ER staff who never treat me like a burden when I come running through the door puking in the middle of the night. Every one at this facility treats you like a priority. Incredible facility and incredible staff!!

Nurses and staff that took care of me were Great! Once I was being discharged it took an hour or less to be released which is well above average for any hospital. Also there was little to no wait to be transported after discharge where Methodist hospital took 3 hours just to get a wheeled chair ride down the elevator. Areas of improvement in my opinion were: Valet parking was FREE which is awesome but they were extremely slow and I waited almost an hour to get my vehicle to go home. The kitchen missed my room at least 3 times in a 48 hour period I was there so I was not fed those meals at all. My last hospital stay was in a Methodist hospital and the HCA hospital beds were smaller and less comfortable than Methodist hospitals. Over all a good experience but not a great experience.

From the day before my surgery, the front desk lady (in very high heels) was so nice and patient with me filing out forms. Next day, The nurses in pre-op (Carmen) were so cordial and helpful, the surgery staff ( True Pros!) were so kind - then onto Post Op- very lovely, sweet Natalia keeping a close eye on me, making sure I was comfortable. Finally, to my hospital room- so many caring Nurses- Rosemary, Carlos - so professional and caring about me. I’m sorry I can remember everyone’s name, but I will never forget how they made me feel ❤️
My niece went to that hospital last night on the 27th terrible pain in her stomach. She's got a tumor on there. Supposedly her doctor supposed to perform surgery on her. She's been laying in a bed for over 24 hours being totally neglected barely had a nurse ever come in no one has seen the doctor and when they my niece's husband told the nurse to please call her doctor. They said they could not get a hold of the doctor well, the doctor works for that hospital so they want to release my niece why she's still in terrible pain. She can't move. She can't even talk. That's what kind of hospital. This is. Don't go there. Don't go There
