The doctors like Dr. Chen and RN Walie were fantastic. ER was a breeze. Waitime was not bad at all considering today was a holiday. Very knowledgeable. They took the time to hear your my concerns and did every test possible for proper diagnosis. I will definitely come back if I need to. Hopefully not. Keep up the good work! God speed to this hospital.

Everything went super good and surgery was smooth and successful, and OR and recovery personal did a great job I'm very happy and satisfied with everything overall, with the exception when I got transferred to Corpus Christi, Texas for the 4-Hour transportation drive I didn't get any pain medication for that, and that was very uncomfortable and when I got here to Pam's rehab facility intake or medical staff had not sent my paperwork and I was sitting there from 9:15 in the morning till 3:30 in the afternoon before I got any kind of pain medication and antibiotic medication other than that everything was exceptional and great thank you so much.

I am very pleased with the bedside maner from the surgeon the pcp doctor the pain medicine doctor and the overnight tech Zoe is the only one has actually cleaned my catheter and I have been here 4 days. The day time time nurses act like they don't want to be here at all my nurse yelled at me and I just had surgery 2 days ago on my stomach and I was struggling getting back in bed and she was like hurry up and had a attitude. The overnight nurse she is alright but some of the things she doesn't know what to do So I am still on the 7th floor and I am still struggling with rude nurses. I am in a ton of pain and I was told earlier by Dorothy because I asked her to please update my pain meds time and and I had surgery twice on my stomach within 2 weeks of each other and it is so painful and she told me that I was supposed to get my pain pill at 10 then she wanted to come in around her little nurse friend oh it's 1030 now. I am struggling with pain control her because you have some nurses that will he help you and the some nurses that won't help you. This while time I have been there and I have I gotten the pain pill first before now she wants to tell me I have to wait for 2 hours for the iv pain meds instead of a hour On top of that the surgeons are amazing and doctor always coming to check on me and making sure I'm getting the best care but some things are getting are getting ignored i and my insurance is patients are taking care of this

Really great visit. Friendly staff from arrival to departure. I gave this location a second chance when I heard they were under new ownership years ago. Ever since then, I've been impressed with every visit. Top notch! Thank you.

Formal ER Complaint Statement I am writing to formally report my experience in the ER today, which was extremely distressing, unsafe, and unacceptable. I arrived at the ER at approximately 1:30 PM for one medical concern. While I was there, I developed significant pain in my face and neck. I informed my nurse about this pain twice. She told me she would inform the doctor to see if he would order pain medication. She never came back and never informed the doctor. Later, when the doctor came in near the end of the visit to tell me I was being discharged, I assumed they were not going to address my pain since I was being sent home, so I did not raise it again at that moment. I asked if I could get dressed. He said yes and left the room, closing the door, but I was still hooked up to the IV and finger monitor, so I could not actually get up or get dressed. After that, I waited an extended period without being discharged. No one came to remove my IV so I could get dressed. I was left undressed in a gown that was too small for a long time, visibly uncomfortable and exposed. Eventually, I pressed the call button and no one came. The door was closed, so I called out for help at least twice, saying, “Can someone help me?” Still, no one came. Finally, I removed my finger monitor, which caused an alarm to sound. That is when the nurse finally came in. At this point, I was in pain and upset. I spoke in a frustrated tone, but I did not scream, threaten, or become aggressive, despite the doctor later characterizing me that way. I was simply trying to get help to leave and to address my pain. I then asked to speak to a patient advocate, which is my right. The nurse said to me, “Well, you didn’t tell him about your pain.” I was shocked, because I had reported it to her and reasonably believed she had communicated this to the physician. By the time I was finally leaving, it was around 5:30 PM — approximately four hours after arrival — and I was still in pain. After I requested a patient advocate, staff began rushing around me and appeared irritated that I was upset. The doctor said to me, “I’ll come back when you want to listen.” At that point, I no longer felt safe or respected as a patient. Additionally, I was connected to an IV bag that was still completely full, which raises serious concerns about whether staff were verifying that fluids or medications were actually being administered to me at all. This entire experience made me feel neglected, dismissed, and unsafe. I came to the ER for help and left still in pain, emotionally distressed, and concerned about the quality and safety of the care I received. I called and asked to speak with hospital administration and was connected to the nurse supervisor, David. I explained what had happened. He said he was coming down and later came into my room, closed the door, and asked me to explain everything again. While I was explaining, he interrupted me and said something to the effect of, “What we are trying to figure out is a resolution to get your pain under control.” At that point, I told him that I no longer felt safe, that I had already been discharged, and that I would go ahead and drive myself home and pursue this matter through HR and the hospital’s complaint process and hope that there would be an investigation. I am requesting that this incident be formally reviewed.

I showed up on time and staff was ready to start prep work before surgery upon arrival. They rolled me back hooked me up to monitors and IV. They told me when they started the IV next thing I remember I’m waking up in recovery and soon after on my way home. Everyone I engaged with was friendly and informative! Considering I had a surgical procedure, it was a pleasant experience.

I was in for a ventral hernia procedure. Everything seemed to go smoothly. I especially love that the care team stayed with me until certain bodily functions could be verified after the procedure. I very much appreciate their dedication to their jobs and to me.
