Every person I interacted with at HCA, with the exception of the person at the main desk when I arrived for pre-op testing and the day of surgery, were exceptional. I felt like I was the only patient each of them had that day. I could not ask for staff to have been more attentive to me from the pre-op experience through the day of surgery. The people at the reception desk were not bad, but I did not feel welcomed. The day of surgery I had fallen in the street and my has were bleeding. I asked the person at the reception desk for a Kleenex and was directed to the bathroom and the look on her face when she saw blood had dripped on the counter spoke volumes.
Only Hospital I have ever been to that everyone is so pleasant. No matter what shift it is. When in there for a week you see many faces in many shifts, and so many different departments which all are so nice. I only had one problem with one nurse on my floor. And that was taken care of by management. Thank you so much because she affected my anxiety which made my vitals change while she was my nurse only 2 days.
This place is a wonderful for for all your medical needs. Every one is so Wonderfully nice kind, and professional.
My mother was a patient at this location for 3 weeks. We were not informed of her discharge until the last second. While a patient there she was not turned every 2 hours and started to develop a bed sore. At the time of discharge the case manager told us that everything for my mother's care was arranged. This proved to be a lie. The orders for her to have physical therapy and Occupational therapy were not transmitted to the home Healthcare agency. There were no orders for my mother's picc line dressing changes. It was not until 7/11/2025 that I found out all about what should have been done that was not taken care of. HCA hospital system is the worst system in the country. I would not recommend this hospital system to anyone. They should not be in the Healthcare business. I really don't know why I bother with this review. I know that it will not change anything with this hospital. Everyone that had anything to do with my mother's care absolutely should be blamed. I have vowed to pursue action by going to a local news media to expose this.
The staff in day surgery were great, I felt well taken care of. The nurses on the 9th (room 902)floor were nice, informative, and professional. Ms.Navya was exceptional, she is young and so intelligent. She took very good care of me and also made my wife feel welcomed.
I wanted to give a special shout out to the team on the South Tower 4th floor who took such great care of my mother who had been in their care for over a week. Customer Service was Exceptional and I felt so ensured that my mom was in their care best hands, after my siblings and I staying around the clock at the hospital, we got to know our mother’s team. After being with my mother 4 days straight I realized I had to return to work the next day but because I knew my mother was in good hands there was no hesitation or regards that she would be taken care of. I also want to thank Nurse Kenadi for being such a great support and angel. Thank you so much Nurse Kenadi for going over and beyond!

Did a great job with my partner! The staff from housekeeping,Cafe,security,cna, Surgeons and any staff I forgot were/is amazing! Special shout out to Nurse Ruby for doing an outstanding job you can tell she’s passionate about nursing! Special thank you to the surgeons that removed the IVC filter that was shattered in hard to get places!
My Mom had surgery there and all the staff from pre-op to check out were very professional, attentive, polite, empathetic, and overall outstanding. I have never seen a hospital were everyone really enjoys what they do and go above and beyond your expectations. Thx to all the nurses in post op like Jasmine, Vi, and Sheeba. Thx to Dr. Concepcion Diaz- Arrastia for her professionalism and top notch care to my mother, who was amazed and happy w/ her and every staff member at the hospital.
I definitely have mixed feelings about this hospital. The communication between the doctors and patients was TERRIBLE. Dr. Magnus was super unpleasant. He's rude and dismissive. His bedside manner is the worst I've ever encountered. That being said, we had 2 nurses during the several days we were there that deserve a shout out. Leslie in the emergency room was fabulous! Paris Johnson, our nurse on the 4th floor was AMAZING! She was definitely our favorite and was super helpful! Great job to those 2 ladies!
