Make sure you remove everything from your vehicle before they tow it. They stole item out of my truck once it was towed after an accident. They will steal your items!! Be aware!
Had a dead battery and my insurance dispatched Wells. After an hour and a half, I called them to see if they were still coming and they said they were an additional 45 minutes out (2h 15 total). 15 minutes later, my insurance called me to say that Wells had marked the job as complete even though nobody came. An absolutely horrible experience and I still had a dead battery at the end of it.
I had a flat tire and this company was dispatched through my roadside assistance. The technician that assisted me was able to get the tire replaced but struggled to change it using a tiny 1 ton jack instead of a 2.5 ton or higher for larger vehicles. He had to jack it from the front of my Lexus NX (which is not really a large vehicle) since the 1 ton jack couldn’t get it off the ground from the side frame. It would be nice to see better equipment being used for more efficient and safer service to the client. It really puts into question the reliability of their other services offered if they can’t carry the right size jack at minimum. Thankfully the technician was able to change it, but I was extremely nervous about damage to the vehicle. I will say the technician came out quickly and helped me with such a kind demeanor. Cudos to Arthur for helping me out.
They are a scam. They will tell you to get a tow truck with companies who have workman’s comp. Then they will tell you it’s ok call your company. When they arrive they block the entrance so your tow truck doesn’t come out. Then you have to pay them $200
The team at Wells Automotive was professional, efficient, and did an excellent job repairing my car. The service was fast, the communication was great, and my car looks brand new again!
Frank is the man!! The owner Frank was a pleasure to work with while getting my car fixed. It needed a lot of work and he helped me greatly cost-wise. When it was time to pickup my car, he also took the time to call me personally, and you can tell he cares about his customers, which is not common in my experience at other auto-shops. I will definitely be going back for all my car needs moving forward and recommending him to my friends if they have car issues as well. 10/10 experience.

Excellent service and great guys. I highly recommend them. My car battery kept dying and I couldn't figure out the issue. AAA replaced my battery but wasn't much help. Wells St Automotive realized it was a parasitic drain and spent a lot of time trying to fix the issue. They weren't able to fix the issue, but they were incredibly generous and ethical by letting me know that it was going to be really expensive to further diagnose and fix it. They did not charge me a diagnostic fee despite putting in a lot of work on the car. I appreciate them being honest and upfront with me. They also had great communication while the car was in the shop.
Incredible service! Drove from WI for a meeting and had a major warning light on my BMW just as I entered the city. Googled service centers, found Wells Automotive, called the shop, Frank said "bring it in I'll run diagnostics" Found that I needed new spark plugs and coils, he had the parts sent over to his shop and had me on my way back to WI in 2 hours! They even washed my car! They truly care about helping and servicing. Top notch service. Highly recommend!
